Background information

Banishment and Warlocking are coming into increasing use as means of solving, exacerbating, or generally pissing around with interpersonal problems in the Craft. The recent proliferation of these acts, culminating in several attempts to promulgate Witch Wars between Covens or entire Traditions, has been hampered by the lack of a suitable Standard Procedure for such actions. This form is intended to remedy that lack.

Time is of the essence!

Don't wait until someone does something that you or your Coven don't like. Banishment and Warlocking have both been successfully used in pre-emptive strikes to disrupt the nefarious daily lives of Craft people that you don't like.

What about notification?

It's risky to notify the accused person of an impending Warlocking or Banishment, since they might get a counter-strike out before you could complete yours, thus negating your carefully-laid plans.

What happens if you Banish the wrong person?

Mistakes happen. The world can handle a few extra frogs and toads. Besides, everyone, regardless of Crafl affiliation, could turn bad sometime, so there is no harm done in prophylactically Banishing them before they get Wrong Ideas.

Are there any Concrete World applications of Banishment and Warlocking?

Form 13-K, suitably amended, may be used for union raids, decertification attempts, slander and discrediting of political opponents, or attracting customers to your Occult Shop by preventing certain persons from setting foot therein. Granted that Occult Shops aren't really part of the Concrete World, but we of the Craft do spend a lot of time and money in them.

This form may be reprintcd freely.
